Managed integrated communications strategies for public sector and nonprofit clients in energy efficiency and racial justice. Developed plans, wrote technical copy, and coordinated creative component with social marketing team to encourage sustainable behavior change. Media Manager & PIO Washington State Department of Natural Resources | 2018 -2019

Collected and disseminated emergency information through state’s digital channels and external earned media channels during wildfire season; served as staff videographer and producer. Prepared a multitude of official memos and scripts on climate change, landslides, and other natural resources issues. Coordinated with policy writers and department scientists in support of the Commissioner of Public Lands. Took a year off from journalism to avoid conflicts of interests.
