My training as a policy analyst deeply informs how I report on climate change. While completing my Master of Public Administration in Environmental Policy at the University of Washington, I focused on applying data science to environmental decision-making and public accountability.

For my capstone project, I developed a five-step guide for journalists reporting on climate policy—an opportunity to formalize the approach I bring to my own reporting: systems-oriented, evidence-based, and rooted in making complex policies accessible and transparent.
